A heartbeat means the killer is close. Skill checks appear while you repair: hit Space when the needle crosses the white zone. Misses make the generator explode and alert the killer. On the hook's second stage, hit the struggle checks or be taken. When only one survivor is left, a hatch opens somewhere.
Hunt four AI survivors. Injure them, down them, then carry them to a hook. Sacrifice everyone before they escape.

You see generator auras through walls. Red scratch marks and blood show where survivors ran. Yellow pulses mark loud noises. Kick generators to make them regress. Bloodlust makes you faster the longer a chase lasts.
The Butcher charges with Rampage. The Shade slips into an invisible Veil. The Warden hides snares that catch survivors.
